China Electronics

China Electronics Corporation (hereinafter referred to as China Electronics) is a state-owned and large-scale state-owned group company directly managed by the central government, and also the largest state-owned it central enterprise in China. It is the largest state-owned comprehensive IT enterprise group in China, which provides electronic information technology products and services as its main business. China Electronics has 36 secondary enterprises and 15 holding listed companies, with a total of more than 110000 employees.

The group was established in May 1989. In 1995, it was further authorized by the original Ministry of electronic industry to operate and manage the state-owned assets of all enterprises under the Ministry of management. In 2000, it became an important state-owned enterprise directly managed by the central government. In August, 2005, the company was reorganized and integrated into China Great Wall computer group. In 2007, seven electronic enterprises in Nanjing, including Panda Electronics Group, were reorganized and integrated. In 2009, it acquired Guanjie Technology Co., Ltd. and Jingmen Technology Co., Ltd. In 2010, China Zhenhua Electronics Group Co., Ltd. was reorganized and integrated. In 2012, Chengdu Jinjiang Electrical Appliance Manufacturing Co., Ltd. was reorganized and integrated. At the end of 2012, rainbow group company was integrated into China Electronics Company as a whole with the approval of the State Council. In 2014, Great Wall Technology Co., Ltd. was privatized and delisted in Hong Kong stock market.

The group has nearly 50 secondary member companies and 14 holding listed companies. Core business is distributed in the strategic and basic electronic information industry involving national security. It has a wide influence and strong competitive advantage in six business fields, including integrated circuit and key components, software and system integration, high-tech electronics, computer and core parts, mobile communication terminals and services, e-commerce and engineering.

On July 19, 2018, fortune was released from the top 500 list of the world, and China Electronic Information Industry Group Co., Ltd. ranked 369. In July 2019, it ranked 375 on fortune's top 500 list. In September 2019, the top 100 enterprises leading China's strategic emerging industries ranked 9th.
