In September 2014, Siemens AG and Bosch Group reached an agreement: Robert Bosch will acquire 50% shares of the joint venture Bosch and Siemens Home Appliances Group (hereinafter referred to as Bosch appliances) held by Siemens. After the completion of the transaction, Bosch appliances will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bosch group, and Siemens will completely withdraw from the field of home appliances.
